Christmas Stuff

Mum bought a ‘money pouch’ at a craft fayre somewhere, got chatting to them about it and found the website they got the FREE design from for me 🙂

So I had to have a go. I did the smaller version to use as labels. This was my first attempt with fabric I had in my stash. The peace coaster was another design they had that I thought mum would like.

I went on to buy a load more Christmas fabric and make lots more:

While I was in Christmas mode, I also decided to give ‘gingers’ a go. I kept seeing these on one of the Facebook embroidery groups and thought they looked cute. However, when I found the designs I got rather carried away and ended up buying lots of different designs. At only £1.50 each design it’s not too bad. These are from Memories in Thread. It started off with the cute Air Cadet:

Then lead to many more!!!

I also decided to reduce on Christmas wrapping this year. Making re-usable wrapping bags. These took a lot of time to do, but I think looked great under the tree. Hopefully those who received them will happily re-use them for their gifts next year.
